ISA September Highlights

  • ISA keynotes the Organization of American States (OAS) international conference on cyber security and unveils the Latin American Cyber Risk Handbook for Corporate Boards co-sponsored by ISA and OAS in Santiago, Chile.

 

  • ISA President Larry Clinton and NACD President Peter Gleasonmake joint presentation at the Department of Homeland Security second annual cyber security summit on the appropriate roles and responsibilities of boards and management in CyberSecurity.

 

  • For the second consecutive year, ISA exclusively hosts the head of the of the German Federation for Cybersecurity, Arne Schonbohm in a private Salon dinner for ISA members and selected friends of ISA.

 

  • ISA, and ISA sponsors, AIG and SSIC conduct a 75 minute workshop on the economics of Cybersecurity for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) annual summit. The Director of the U.S. National Risk Management Center, Bob Kolasky, attends the session as a participant.

 

  • At the request of the U.S. Department of Commerce ISA conducts an hour long invitation only webinar for Commerce department personnel on economics of cyber security and how to create effective public private partnerships

 

  • ISA and NACD jointly announce that ISA, exclusively, develop a third edition of the NACD cyber risk handbook for corporate boards.

 

  • ISA signs Memo of Understanding with the Japanese Federation of Businesses to create a Japanese edition of the Cyber Risk handbook which will be promoted in Japan in conjunction with the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo. Larry Clinton met with the Japanese delegation in Washington DC to review handbook publication details.

 

  • ISA President Larry Clinton guest lectures on the history of cyber security policy for the graduate course on Information Policy at Syracuse University

 

  • ISA attends invitation only meeting of key NACD partners to discuss the development of the nation’s first certification program for corporate boards of directors.

 

  • ISA meets with the Innovate UK Delegation, a delegation of industry and government IT, to discuss potential partnerships. ISA also attended the 10th Annual Billington CyberSecurity Summit at the British Embassy.
