  • ISA was asked to publish and article in USA Today about cybersecurity in the Boardroom. The article details the nature of today’s cyber threat and frames cybersecurity as an enterprise-wide risk management issue that corporate boards are becoming incitingly involved in.  The article was published for an entire weekend run in USA Today.
  • ISA was asked by the National Association of Corporate Directors and KPMG to present the Cyber Risk Oversight Handbook for Corporate Directors. ISA presented and provided insight on the five steps described in the handbook for strengthening organizations strength on cybersecurity oversight.
  • ISA was asked to deliver a keynote and participate in an hour-long Q&A at the Annual Ascendant Compliance Conference in Palm Springs for the financial services community. ISA was asked to speak on the nature of today’s cyber threat and the recent ISA Cybersecurity Handbook for corporate Directors document published in conjunction with AIG, and NACD.
  • The US Chamber of Commerce endorsed the Cybersecurity Handbook for Corporate Directors, published jointly between ISA, AIG, and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). The Handbook will be provided as a resource to organizations participating in the Cybersecurity Roundtable Conferences hosted by the Chamber throughout the country. These conferences are largely attended by small and medium-sized businesses and focus on cybersecurity awareness.
  • ISA participated in a day-long meeting with senior officials from the FCC as a part of the Communications Security, Reliability, and Inoperability Council (CSRIC) working group 4 – of which ISA is co-chair of the Barriers to NIST Framework Implementation feeder group. During the meeting, ISA was asked to provide the council and the FCC with recommended incentives which might help an organization overcome the economic barriers to framework implementation.
  • ISA participated in the fall 2014 Software and Supply Chain Assurance (SSCA) Forum in Washington, DC “Improving Cybersecurity and Resilience Through Acquisition.” The event explored how public and private sector organizations are addressing various aspects of supply chain risk through their procurement activities and what further improvements might be made in the future.
  • ISA was featured in an article for Area Development Magazine which highlights the ISA, NACD, and AIG Cyber Risk Oversight Handbook.
