The Internet Security Alliance today announced the full list of guest faculty who will be assisting in teaching its course on cybersecurity as part of the Stonier Graduate Executive Education Program at the Wharton School. The Program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia begins June 10.
The guest faculty for the ISA class includes current ISA Board Chairman Gary McAlum, Chief Security Officer and Senior Vice President for USAA; former ISA Board Chair Tim McKnight, Chief Security Officer at SAP America, Inc; Adrian Peters, Managing Director and Global Chief Technology Risk Officer at BNY Mellon; Lisa Humbert, Operational Risk Officer of the Americas at MUFG, Union Bank, NA; Greg Montana, CEVP, Chief Risk Officer, at FIS; Nasrin Rezai, who is GE Officer and Global Chief Information & Product Cyber Security for GE; Garin Pace, Chief Cyber Risk Analyst for AIG; and Bob Vescio, Chief Analytics Officer, Secure Systems Innovation Corporation (SSIC).
With the exception of Mr. Pace and Mr. Vescio, all the guest faculty members are members of the ISA Board of Directors.
ISA CEO Larry Clinton will oversee the course, lecturing on the evolution of the cyber threat and economics of cybersecurity. In addition to being the President of the ISA, Mr. Clinton compiled the Cyber-Risk Oversight Handbook for Corporate Boards, published by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), holds a certificate in cyber-risk management from Carnegie Mellon University, provides training for the Federal Reserve Bank, teaches Master Classes for NACD, and taught Business Communications at the University of Illinois, where he received several awards for teaching excellence.
Mr. McAlum and Mr. Peters will co-teach the course’s unit on insider threats. Ms. Humbert and Mr. McKnight will co- teach the unit of supply chain management. Ms. Rezai and Mr. Montana will co-teach the unit on incident response. Ms. Grella, Mr. Vescio, and Mr. Pace will provide an interactive exercise demonstrating how enterprises can use modern cyber assessment models to integrate cyber economics into business planning and decision making.
