Dimi Stratakis is the Chief Technology Risk Officer at BNY Mellon. He is responsible for enterprise oversight and risk management across technology, information /cyber security, data and resiliency. He joined BNY Mellon in September 2021.
Dimi is a technology, cyber security and operational risk leader with strong transformation track record and extensive experience in managing large scale, complex programs, with 25 years of experience in financial services globally.
He previously served as the Global Head of Technology Risk Management at Wells Fargo, where he was responsible for the design framework of technology and information security controls.
Prior to Wells Fargo, Dimi spent 16 years with UBS, where he held a number of senior leadership roles including Global Head of Cyber Risk and Operational Resilience and Chief Risk Officer for Technology and Operations.
Dimi servers at the board of the Internet Security Alliance, and he is also a board advisor to Obrela Security Industries, a Gartner recognized MDR company.
Dimi holds a bachelor’s degree in computing engineering from Imperial College (University of London) and a masters in Information Security from Royal Holloway (University of London).
